At Trooping the Colour
The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William is expected to ride a horse for the first time at the Trooping the Colour ceremony. Having “thoroughly enjoyed” his 10-day honeymoon with the Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William is looking forward to becoming acquainted with another close companion. Mandrake hears that the Duke of Cambridge Prince William is to ride a beautiful white horse at the Trooping the Colour ceremony.
It would be the first time that Prince William has ridden at Trooping the Colour, which marks the Queen’s official birthday in June and is held in Horseguards Parade. Prince William would wear the same Irish Guards ceremonial uniform that Prince William did at his wedding.
