To visit California in July
Prince William and his new bride Catherine will visit California in July, following their first official tour as husband and wife to Canada, palace officials announced Thursday. "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Catherine will visit California, United States of America, following their tour of Canada in July this year," said a statement from the Prince William 's official London residence, St James's Palace.
"The couple, Prince William and Catherine will visit the state of California from 8th July to 10th July 2011. A detailed itinerary will be published at a later date." The North America tour will be Prince William and Catherine's first since their wedding at Westminster Abbey on April 29, which was watched by an estimated two billion people around the world and about one million on the streets of London.
