Heartfelt Canada Day Speech of
Prince William in Ottawa
In a speech to crowds in the capital the Duke of Cambridge, Prince William
told them how he and his wife, Princess Catherine were "excited" by the prospect of becoming "part of the Canadian family" as Prince William and Princess Catherine travel around the country during the next eight days.
Prince William said: "To be here on Canada Day, a day of unity, a day of
coming together as families, and as a nation, is even more special for us."
Prince William has paid tribute to Princess Catherine's grandfather, who
trained as a pilot in Canada and died last year, during a speech in Ottawa.
