Prince William Dons Traditional
Tall Bearskin Hat, Rides Horse
Prince William dons traditional tall bearskin hat, rides horse for Queen Elizabeth's bday practice
Prince William made a surprise public appearance outside London's Buckingham Palace Saturday - but only the most eagle-eyed tourists would have spotted him. The Prince William was on horseback and riding in plain sight, but he was wearing a traditional tall bearskin hat that mostly obscured his face.
Prince William, 28, was rehearsing for his role in next week's birthday celebration for Queen Elizabeth. The Prince William, who rode a gray horse named Wellesley, was sporting the same red Irish Guards tunic that Prince William wore during his wedding to Princess Catherine at Westminster Abbey on April 29.
