The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Princess Catherine have visited Singapore as part of their nine-day tour in Asia and pictures taken of the couple visiting some of the city-state's main tourist spots and published around the world are expected to boost tourism.
Long seen as a stopover to other destinations such as Australia or New Zealand, the visit of the young royals, Prince William and Princess Catherine to Singapore is expected to help attract tourists to the tiny Asian locale.
