The British Royal wedding of Prince William and Princess Catherine
was the most popular "Google search" item in the country this year.
The term 'Royal wedding' was followed by 'iPhone 5' and 'Fifa 12'
in the list of the search engine's annual survey of the most inquired-about
new terms, Sky News reported.
Princess Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, was also one of the most Googled celebrities in the country. American reality TV star Kim Kardashian was the most searched-for celebrity in 2011, followed by former Spice Girl
Victoria Beckham and actresses Emma Watson and Scarlett Johansson.
